3-MAN ROOKIE X FIRE TOURNEY, SATURDAY, JUNE 30, 2007

It was a beautiful day for the eleven teams that participated in the second 3-man tourney of the 2007 season.

Each team got to play ten games in the tournament leading up to the finals so there were a lot of chances for each team to demonstrate how good it was and to learn from others.

No team walked away without at least two victories and even the best team tasted at least one defeat.

At the half way point of the tournament, when each team had played five games, Crank had 405 points, Comeback Kids, Fuel, and New England Nightmare each had 315 points and Crush had 310 points. Not far behind were Silent Rampage with 235, Team Black and Franchise each with 225, Worthy had 200, Kr3w had 190 and Da-Mafia had 130.

The second half of the tournament saw Crank maintain their first place position ending the preliminary round with 890 points, Fuel came through with a second place finish with 685 points and Comeback Kids came in with 620 points. Close behind was team Black with 605 points. Fifth place went to Crush with 480 points, sixth to Silent Rampage with 470 points, seventh to New England Nightmare with 465 points, eight to Franchise with 455 points, ninth to Worthy with 350 points, tenth to Kr3w with 310 points and eleventh to Da-Mafia with 270 points.

The top three teams moved on to the finals. Crank swept both Fuel and the Comeback Kids to take 195 points and first place overall. Comeback beat Fuel to end the finals with 110 points and take second place leaving Fuel to third place for the day.

The top three teams received trophies. Prizes included 3 NxE roller bags, 3 cases of paint and a bag of pods.
