Steve Herbert
Owner of X Fire Paintball

 

Steve (#69) Herbert is the owner of X Fire Paintball. Steve has been involved in paintball since 1996 when his then 12 year old daughter wanted to play paintball. Steve took her to a field one weekend, then again the next weekend, the third weekend the field staff suggested that he go out on the field to see what she was doing. The following weekend he had his own equipment and was hooked forever.

Steve is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, Class of 1969, and has an MBA from Harvard University. He served as a Captain in the US Army in Germany and Korea as well as several US Army bases. He earned the Airborne Badge and Army Commendation Medal.

Steve has received training from Smart Parts, Air Gun Designs, Tippmann, PCRI, Brass Eagle, Paintball Training Institute and Worr Games.

Steve owns a number of Tippmanns including a Pro-Lite, Carbine, and 98 with an E-bolt, he also has a blue LCD Angel. He uses a blue Revolution with Intellifeed, Angel Air, a JT Proteus mask and a JT Slampack.

Steve lives in North Grosvenordale, CT with his wife Kathleen and her dogs, Conan and Margarite.
